Waste Management
Impetus was formed as a result of a management buyout in January 2014, backed by pan-European private equity firm, Agilitas. This brought together the original Impetus business along with Greenways Waste Management, a specialised Total Waste Management business. In January 2015 the group was further extended with the acquisition of Leeds-based Waste Processing site, T Shea Limited.
The group is one of the leading waste management groups in the North-east of England and handles volumes of approx. 1.25 million tonnes per annum.
