One of the UK’s fastest growing water suppliers has chosen Wynyard Business Park, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious office developments in the Tees Valley, as the location for its new office.

Acting on behalf of Northumberland Estates, joint agents Dodds Brown and Knight Frank have let 1,678 sq ft of high specification office space in Suite 2, Unit 4 of the Business Village at Wynyard Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees, TS22 5TB, to Everflow, on a new five year lease, at a quoting rent of £13.50 psf.

Wynyard Business Park is located close to the junction of the A19 with the A689, just north of Billingham, and is a hub for professional and engineering services companies. It offers high specification, grade A, office buildings and suites ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft to 20,000 sq ft, with smaller office suites available in Wynyard Park’s Business Centre, as well as development plots.

Everflow supplies water to commercial businesses throughout England and Scotland, saving customers an average of nearly £2,350 on their annual water bills. It combines a strong service ethos with charitable giving, aiming to commission 50 new water wells per year to provide clean and safe drinking water in Africa.

The company was established two years ago to take advantage of the deregulation of the business water market in England and Scotland, allowing businesses to switch suppliers, and has grown quickly, resulting in its need for new, larger offices.

Andrew Wilde Head of Sales at Everflow says: “As the fastest growing water supplier to UK SME businesses we had outgrown our office space in a business centre in Castle Eden and needed larger premises to cope with increased customer demand. The high specification office space and the landscaped environment, coupled with the location almost adjacent to the A19, allowing us quick access to our business customers in Scotland and England, make Wynyard Business Park the perfect location to grow our business further.”

Rebecca Maddison, Associate in the Office Agency Team at the Newcastle office of Knight Frank, says: “The ‘Wynyard Lifestyle’ in the shape of first class on-site facilities, such as a café, nursery, gym, and dental practice, along with the business park’s proximity to the sought after executive housing at Wynyard Park, to leisure facilities at Wynyard Hall Hotel and to top schools, also really enhances the attractiveness of Wynyard Business Park to new tenants.”

Stephen Brown, Senior Partner at Teesside independent commercial property consultants Dodds Brown adds: “On-going investment in office space, landscaped environment and on-site facilities by Northumberland Estates will ensure we see many more office occupiers heading to Wynyard Business Park.”

At Wynyard Business Park each office comes with plentiful car parking and offers stand-alone and multi-occupied accommodation. Current tenants include Baldwins Accountancy Group, TBI Solicitors, Balfour Beatty, Wood Group, Highfield Environmental, Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, Nortech Group and Conoco Phillips.
