Global tank container operator M&S Logistics is the latest company to have taken space at Tees Valley’s Wynyard Business Park.

Joint agents Knight Frank with Dodds Brown – who act for owners Northumberland Estates – have let an additional 861 sq ft of space within Wynyard Park House to the company which has offices around the world. Founded in 1996 in South Africa, and identified in London Stock Exchange’s ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, M&S Logistics is a global logistics provider of bulk liquid transport specialising in the use of ISO intermodal tank containers.

The company’s headquarters is in the UK, with offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, the United States of America, China and Dubai. Further office openings have been in the works this year.

M&S Logistics’ European director commented on the space: “At M&S Logistics, employee engagement is the key to our success and one of our core values. When we found our new office space at Wynyard we knew that this business park would contribute to our employees motivation.

“A professional environment, well-kept grounds and facilities that offer more than just a work environment, like the onsite gym, childcare centre and a friendly lunch café.”

Over 65 businesses, employing more than 2,000 people, are presently located at Wynyard Business Park. Current tenants include Baldwins Accountancy Group, TBI Solicitors, Balfour Beatty and Wood Group. Richard Wilson, senior associate partner at Teesside-based commercial property consultants Dodds Brown, concluded: “Ongoing investment in office space at Wynyard Business Park as well as the expansion of the range of on-site facilities with the addition of both retail units, a pub/restaurant and hotel by Northumberland Estates, coupled with the ideal location, can only assist in attracting high quality tenants such as this to the office complex.”
